Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in Holmdel, NJ. The role focuses on medium to high acuity patients, with responsibilities including monitoring vital signs and IV drips, administering complex treatments, and collaborating with the care team.

Requirements include ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Shifts available: day, night, and mid; and full-time, part-time, or per diem positions.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with vital signs, IV drips, and other indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions, including BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital policies.

Education

Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher

Active RN license

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
