Incredible Health is actively recruiting for a Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown in Commerce Township, MI. The role focuses on caring for medium to high acuity patients, with responsibilities across medication administration, complex treatment plans, and interprofessional collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires ADN or higher, RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Nurses will work with EMR systems and participate in education for patients and families while

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year of stepdown/high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
