Job summary

Benihana - Concord seeks a skilled hibachi chef to engage guests and deliver a unique dining experience. You will cook at hibachi tables, ensuring portions meet standards and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area.

The role requires completing Benihana’s chef training and prior chef/cook experience is desirable. Training is complemented by a dynamic team environment and opportunities for growth in hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete Benihana chef training program.
• Previous chef or cook experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a memorable teppan dining experience.
• Perform hibachi cooking shows and interact with guests.
• Prepare and portion foods per company standards.
• Maintain clean, sanitized hibachi and kitchen areas.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and FIFO for food handling.
• Assist with shift opening/closing duties as needed.
• Photograph guests for special occasions when requested.
