Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Forklift Operator to move incoming freight to inventory, stock pick slots, and support efficient warehouse flow. The role requires operating a forklift, pallet jack, and RF scanner, while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Schedule: Sunday - 3:30pm until work is complete; Monday - Thursday 4:30pm until work is complete.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and keep the work area safe.
• Move incoming freight to inventory and replenish pick slots as required.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature and quality checks.
• Locate slots on storage racks and move pallets with forklift or pallet jack.
• Enter product data and location into the RF unit and complete shift paperwork.
