Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to maintain efficient product flow in our distribution system. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and stock items, ensuring GMP and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include locating slots, stocking and replenishing stock, and performing pre-shift safety checks. This role requires standing and lifting up to 90 pounds, with schedule Sunday-Thursday and competitive benefits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves and replenish product from various heights (10–90 lb).
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory from staging areas using forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock per next day’s work orders.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to front and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots; remove pallets and inspect for damage.
