Higginsville Habilitation Center (HHC) is recruiting for a Support Care Professional, in our Center Industries Department, and to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 200 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 40+ individuals receiving 24/7 services.
The Support Care Professional must be detail-oriented, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel.
This position will oversee the daily operation of the work area that employs individuals supported by HHC; and will work on establishing piece rates for the individuals based on time studies or following state minimum wage guidelines.This position will be worked into on-call rotation, which includes Holidays and overtime hours as needed.
