Qualifications

  • Spanish fluency is required.

  • Experience in administrative, customer service, call center, or healthcare office preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable speaking with patients and gathering information over the phone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new computer systems quickly.

  • Contact prospective patients and representatives to gather information for new cases.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and collect demographic, insurance, and service-related information.
  • Follow up with prospective patients when additional information is needed.
  • Enter and organize referral information accurately in company systems.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing professional and friendly customer service.
  • Assist HHA Coordinators with verifying Home Health Aide attendance.
  • Help with data entry, filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, referral sources, and internal staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling patient and company information.
  • Assist with other duties and projects as needed.

HHA Coordinator Assistant

Location: 1989 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 100% On-Site
Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Spanish fluency is required for this position due to regular communication with Spanish-speaking patients and their representatives.

We are looking for an organized, personable, and detail-oriented HHA Coordinator Assistant to join our team!

What You'll Do
  • Contact prospective patients and their representatives to gather information for potential new cases.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and collect demographic, insurance, and service-related information.
  • Follow up with prospective patients when additional information is needed.
  • Enter and organize referral information accurately in company systems.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing professional and friendly customer service.
  • Assist HHA Coordinators with verifying Home Health Aide attendance.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous administrative, customer service, call center, or healthcare office experience is preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable speaking with patients and gathering information over the phone.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new computer systems quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Experience with HHAeXchange is a plus.

Salary: $19-25/HR
