Job summary

Sunoco LP is seeking a Health, Environmental, and Safety (HES) compliance professional to oversee regulatory adherence across its facilities in the Salt Lake City area. The role covers environmental permitting, reporting, emergency response, and incident investigations while driving continuous improvement in HES programs.

The candidate will manage SPCC and FRP documentation, oversee hazardous waste programs, and ensure alignment with OSHA and DOT requirements, audits, and training initiatives to

Qualifications

• Experience with environmental permits and reporting.
• Ability to lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Experience delivering HES training and audits.
• Contractor oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update FRPs and SPCC Plans.
• Manage environmental permits and reporting (air, stormwater, wastewater, discharges).
• Oversee hazardous waste programs and tracking.
• Coordinate inspections and regulatory information requests.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Ensure compliance across facilities and provide QA/QC for reports.
