Job summary

Sunoco LP in the United States seeks a seasoned Environmental, Health and Safety professional to lead spill response, incident command, and training across the regional terminals. You will support safety programs and regulatory compliance while coordinating with field, corporate, and local agencies.

The role emphasizes emergency response and security planning, adherence to CWA, RCRA, TSCA, and related regulations, and participation in HazWoper training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the environmental multimedia, environment across terminal, pipeline, and refinery operations.
• Knowledge of Hazardous & Non Hazardous Waste, RCRA Waste, Occupational Health and Safety regulations, Coast Guard Emergency Response, and the Incident Command System.

Responsibilities

• Oversee spill response and incident commander structure; respond to emergencies and training events.
• Manage Emergency response, security, and terminal plans.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (CWA, RCRA, TSCA, Federal Oil Pollution Act).
• Respond to emergency callouts and perform incident management duties.
• Assist field operations in agency inspections and internal audits.
• Coordinate and conduct HES training and implement HES-Management System.
• Implement new HES regulations and ensure field HES compliance.
• Liaise between field, corporate, and local agencies.
• Follow Sunoco LP policies, including communication and drug testing.
• Be a team player and demonstrate respect toward teammates.
• Participate in Initial 40-hr Hazwoper and annual 8-hr refresher training.
