Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics in Katy, TX is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) for a full-time, in-person role. You will guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provide education, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and perform phlebotomy duties to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The role emphasizes documentation in EMR/EHR, HIPAA compliance, and strong communication with patients and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel is required).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide clear, compassionate education on testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Serve as the primary patient contact to ensure a supportive and informed experience.
• Conduct structured patient consultations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Own patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow coordination.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate data entry.
