Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Thornton, CO. You will guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, provide education, and perform phlebotomy while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The role emphasizes clinical coordination, strong patient communication, and adherence to HIPAA. A nationally certified phlebotomist with 2+ years of experience and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• 2+ years of insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from start to finish.
• Provide education on testing procedures and next steps.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and liaise with partner sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
