Job summary

The Herberger Theater Center in Phoenix is seeking volunteers to assist with events and enhance guest experiences. Volunteers will greet guests, take tickets, distribute programs, and help with general event setup and post-show cleanup.

This role is open to individuals aged 12–15 with a legal guardian. Volunteers enjoy free parking and can watch the shows they work for after completing training.

• Age restrictions may apply for certain events based on content.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Herberger Theater Center was conceived as a pivotal piece in the redevelopment and revitalization of downtown Phoenix. Built in 1989 to support and foster the growth of performing arts in Phoenix, the center has contributed to the cultural and educational development of the Valley, welcoming approximately 160,000 patrons, including 30,000 school‑aged children, each year.

• Assist with general event setup and post‑show cleanup as needed

Eligibility and Benefits

• Individuals aged 12–15 may participate with a legal guardian or mentor
• Age restrictions may apply for certain events based on content
• Free parking is provided during all shifts worked
• After completing online training, volunteers may usher any event on any of the four stages and will have the opportunity to watch the shows they work at.
