Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in WA is seeking an entry level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients, with assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, under supervision of the nurse leadership.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, participate in quality improvement activities, and support safe hemodialysis therapy in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold state RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the chart.
• Educates patients and families on learning needs and plan of care.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents effectiveness.
• Participates in emergency response measures and staff training.
