Job summary

Karyopharm Therapeutics seeks a Hematology/Oncology Specialist in Hartford, CT. This field-based role builds relationships across the patient care continuum and communicates approved disease and product information to oncology stakeholders.

You will develop business plans, position on-label benefits, collaborate with Market Access, Clinical Education, and Medical Affairs, and drive access to therapies while delivering value at medical meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with success.
• 2+ years in oncology or rare disease sales, including product launches.
• Hematology experience or Multiple Myeloma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plans and market analysis to drive results.
• Position on-label benefits to stakeholders to meet sales goals.
• Resolve access issues at the account level for therapy.
• Coordinate with Market Access, Clinical Education, Medical Affairs to facilitate access.
• Provide customer feedback and identify unmet needs and opportunities.
• Support marketing by engaging healthcare professionals at events.
• Maintain mastery of clinical and product knowledge.
• Develop relationships with KOLs and decision makers in oncology.
• Staff promotional activities and medical meetings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
