Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry is required
• 3 years of experience in Hematology, in a hospital lab setting
• General experience with licensing, accreditation and regulatory requirements is required
• Quality control procedures in a hospital laboratory environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and hold them accountable for accurate patient results
• Assist in training and troubleshooting for testing platforms in Hematology and Flow Cytometry
• Review quality control and assist manager with instrument validation studies
• Maintain efficient record systems and ensure inventory evaluations are completed timely
