Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 26 science credits and CLIA laboratory experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3 years experience in clinical laboratory.
• General supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises department section staff and training.
• Ensures laboratory procedures are approved, performed correctly and reported properly.
• Affects improvements, insures quality of apparatus, equipment and materials.
• Maintains efficient record systems and performs related duties for patient care.
• Supervises staff and ensures reliable patient laboratory results.
• Responsible for payroll, scheduling, budgetary restraints and inventory control.
• Must qualify under CLIA as technical supervisor.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology / Biological Sciences / Chemistry / Life Sciences

Master’s Degree (Preferred)
