Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Supervisory role for Specimen Processing and Phlebotomy at Temple Hospital. Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and controlling the daily lab activities, including payroll, scheduling and inventory control.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree ( Bachelor’s preferred) and 5+ years in phlebotomy/specimen processing with 1 year in supervision. Evening/ night shift and full-time status are expected, with a focus on reliable patient results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in phlebotomy and specimen processing in a clinical lab.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the Specimen Processing and phlebotomy sections.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Oversee drawing, collection and processing of specimens.
• Ensure accurate entry and management of patient and specimen information.
