Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Multiple Myeloma Program in outpatient clinics. The APP will support care for patients with hodgkin lymphoma, non-hodgkin lymphoma, and CLL within hematology and perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and skin biopsies in accordance with privileging.

The role requires collaboration with physicians and the health care team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
• Licensed as an APRN or PA in North Carolina.
• Board certification per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and perform physical assessments with differential diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up for hematology patients.
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, and skin biopsies.
• Educate patients and families and participate in quality improvement projects.
