Job summary

UHA University Health Associates is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for Hematology/Oncology patients in infusion and ambulatory settings.

The role requires graduate nursing or PA education with national certification, WV licensure eligibility, and strong collaboration with the care team to coordinate plans of care and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an APRN in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to hematology/oncology patients in infusion center and ambulatory settings.
• Complete rounds, pre-treatment evaluations, and participate in clinics and inpatient care.
• Develop and review care plans with the clinical team and coordinate discharge/follow-up.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; document plans and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure quality outcomes.
