N C Machinery Co. in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to deliver Tier 1-2 support for internal and client-facing systems in a hybrid on-premises and cloud environment.

You will set up new devices, administer AD/Azure/Office 365, provide training, document issues, and work with multiple teams to keep business applications running smoothly across Windows, SharePoint, and Teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a service/helpdesk/call center environment at Tier 1-2, or 1+ year with related education.
• This is an in-office role; not remote.
• Ability to diagnose advanced technical issues involving hardware, software, and tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to providing accurate support information.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure computers, applications, and peripherals for new employees and contractors.
• Provide in-depth Tier 1-2 support for hardware, software, and services.
• Document issues and escalate when needed to resolve complex requests.
• Maintain IT asset inventory data and knowledge base documentation.
• Provide multi-level support to administer AD/Azure AD/Office 365/SharePoint/Exchange/Teams/Hyper-V/Windows Server.
• Deliver regular training/workshops for users on business applications.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of major OSs, platforms, hardware, and software.
• Collaborate with development and support teams.
