DHA Housing Solutions for North Texas is seeking a Helpdesk Specialist in Dallas, TX to provide Tier 1 IT support for end-users and assist with IT operations across the agency. Responsibilities include hardware/software inventory, printing room management, and user assistance by phone and in person.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and reliable technical support within a nonprofit housing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 1 year PC desktop support or 2 years printing experience.
• Desktop publishing experience is required.
• Training and Certification may be required during employment as needed.
• Experience with IT hardware/software and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answer IT helpdesk calls and route to the right person.
• Generate IT work orders and maintain department files.
• Assist users with desktop/laptop setup and configuration over the phone.
• Monitor printing room operations and supply levels.
• Support printing and publishing tasks for publications and notices.
• Provide courteous customer service and reliable IT support.
