Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician II for our Frederick, Maryland headquarters. The role requires supporting Windows desktops, software, and incident resolution on-site, with a focus on quality customer service.

You will install and troubleshoot hardware and software, deploy new equipment, and coordinate tasks for junior staff while maintaining strong communication with users and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related area preferred; in lieu, 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with managing computer software and computer hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a regular schedule at the Frederick corporate office.
• A team player with a customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Windows operating systems and various software applications.
• Assist users with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Provision and deploy new hardware for users.
• Maintain a high level of customer service for all support requests.
• Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
• Ability to lead junior staff and coordinate tasking of projects or requirements.
