Job summary

Delaware Nation Investments/Emerging Technologies is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join the base User Services/Comm Focal Point team. You will handle incidents, deployment, and end-user IT support for the AFRL Information Directorate, covering desk, desktop, network, cybersecurity, and IA-related tasks.

Responsibilities include imaging with WDS/PXE, domain joins, application configuration, data backups, and printer/share connections, with an Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Imaging and deployment using WDS/PXE.
• Join and manage client systems in a Windows domain.
• Deliver and configure user-facing applications on workstations.
• Back up and restore user profiles and data.
• Troubleshoot client hardware and software for end users.

Responsibilities

• Support incidents for end users within the base User Services/Comm Focal Point team.
• Assist in the full client system lifecycle from deployment to remnant security.
• Provide desk, network, and cybersecurity support per AFRL IT requirements.

This is a non-personal services order to provide seamless support to Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate for Information Technology (IT), communication and computer management services including service desk support, desktop support, network support, enterprise services, web services, cybersecurity and information assurance support, communications support, field services, and specialized information systems support. The Desktop Support Specialist will work within the base User Services/Comm Focal Point team for all customer incidents and in support of the full client system lifecycle from deployment to remnant security.
