Motion Recruitment in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician to join its internal IT team on a full-time, onsite basis. You will provide Tier 1 support in a Microsoft environment, handling Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, desktops, peripherals, and proprietary business applications.

The company is undergoing a technology transformation, bringing IT operations in-house and upgrading infrastructure across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365.
• Active Directory user administration, including password resets, account management, and account unlocks.
• Windows 10/11 troubleshooting experience.
• Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

A growing organization in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician to join its internal IT team. This is a full-time, direct-hire, fully onsite opportunity supporting employees across multiple business locations. This person will provide Tier 1 technical support in a Microsoft environment, working with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, desktop hardware, peripherals, and proprietary business applications.

The company is in the middle of a major technology transformation as it brings more of its IT operations in-house and modernizes infrastructure across a growing number of locations. They have already invested more than $500,000 into infrastructure upgrades, including data center improvements, new fiber connections, and replacing legacy environments. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of IT support experience who wants to continue building their technical skill set, work alongside experienced infrastructure professionals, and eventually grow into Systems Administration or Infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–3 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365
• Active Directory user administration, including password resets, account management, and account unlocks
• Windows 10/11 troubleshooting experience
• Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests in a fast‑paced environment

Desired Skills & Experience

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
• Experience with NinjaOne or a similar ticketing platform
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience supporting printers or production environments
• Interest in continuing to grow within Infrastructure or Systems Administration
