Job description

The New York State Unified Court System is seeking a PC Analyst to serve in the 3rd Judicial District Administrative Office IT Unit in Rensselaer County. The position will participate in all areas of the Help Desk and will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected: Senior PC Analyst or PC Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, organizing, and conducting training sessions in the use of PC software and hardware.
• Keeping records and other documents relating to inventory and maintenance contracts
• Providing Help Desk support and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring and maintaining the daily operation of computer systems and networks.
• Assisting in the delivery, acceptance, and installation of hardware and software.
• Training employees in the use of PC software and hardware.
• A working knowledge of Office 365 application suite, SCCM and SharePoint is preferred.
• The incumbent may be assigned to work on projects involving database conversions, the installation and maintenance of IP phones, IP cameras, and court facility renovations.
• Incumbent must have a valid NYS Driver's License.

Qualifications:

Senior PC Analyst: Two years of service in PC Analyst title; or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related information technology field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of Information technology/helpdesk related experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $76,112

PC Analyst: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related information technology field from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma and four (4) years of Information technology/helpdesk related experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $64,971
