Senior Key Agency & Pro Market Field Support Specialist

Join us at Canon USA as a Senior Key Agency & Pro Market Field Support Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support, educate, and engage with the professional photojournalism and photography/video industries.

Position Overview

As part of the Key Agency & Pro Market Field Support Team within the Canon USA Business Partner Group (BPG), you will leverage your technical expertise to demonstrate Canon’s imaging products, support current clients, and explore new business opportunities. The role is remote, ideally based near a major metropolitan area to facilitate travel, including frequent overnight trips for events, meetings, and workshops.

Responsibilities

1. Visit key professional end users to demonstrate and educate on Canon imaging products.
2. Support imaging professionals and end users through evaluation loans, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and answering technical questions.
3. Plan and conduct training seminars in collaboration with sales teams to educate about Canon’s products.
4. Collaborate on product launches, marketing collateral, and events with Marketing and Product Planning departments.
5. Assess technical support needs and develop appropriate activities and programs.
6. Participate in trade shows, activations, and events supporting the professional imaging market.
7. Create technical documentation and support materials for training and demonstrations.
8. Follow up on leads, develop new contacts, and increase Canon’s market share.
9. Maintain regular communication with sales teams and report on customer feedback.
10. Represent Canon in media interviews, social media, and marketing assets.
11. Build strong relationships with key clients and partners, providing customized solutions.
12. Support internal departments such as Canon Professional Services (CPS), marketing, and product planning using your technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in imaging, photojournalism, marketing, business, or equivalent experience; 5+ years in imaging profession.
• Expertise in cameras, lenses, techniques, and applications for supporting professional end users.
• Experience in location-based photojournalism or photography, including editing and transmission.
• Experience with hybrid still/video environments and key imaging agencies preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50-70% nationwide, with some international travel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.

Salary range: $76,150 - $114,040.
