Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Specialist II to provide technical support for a wide range of IT issues with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics 365 environments. This role involves troubleshooting, resolving tickets related to Windows OS, networking, printers, and connectivity, as well as managing user onboarding, supporting Microsoft cloud platforms, Azure VMs, Azure networking, and maintaining system efficiency.

Essential Functions

  1. Technical Support: Provide Tier II support for Windows OS, networking, printers, connectivity issues, and end-user devices.
  2. Cloud Platform Support: Support Microsoft Azure (including VMs and networking), Office 365, and Dynamics 365.
  3. Azure VMs and Networking: Manage, troubleshoot, configure, monitor, and maintain Azure VMs and networking components.
  4. User Onboarding: Set up accounts, email, permissions, and ensure proper integration into cloud environments for new users.
  5. Ticket Management: Respond to escalated helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
  6. System Monitoring: Monitor system health and address potential issues proactively.
  7. Network & Connectivity: Troubleshoot network issues, including wireless and VPN connectivity.
  8. Printer & Peripheral Support: Support printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  9. Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation.
  10. User Training: Provide basic training on Office 365, Dynamics 365, and other applications.
  11. Collaboration: Work with IT team on projects and system upgrades.
  12. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, and Dynamics 365.
  • Problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Azure services.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, SQL, and database management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of security and compliance standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Travel

Approximately 10% planned business travel.

Education And Experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of IT support experience, especially with Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Networking experience (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Office 365, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
