Job summary

Valley Health System in Southern Nevada is seeking a Help Desk professional to oversee daily operations of the VHS help desk, document calls, and strive for first-call resolution for customers. You will document resolutions and coordinate with IT teams to ensure service continuity.

The role requires 2–5 years of desktop and network support experience, with an Associate degree or equivalent, and a certification in computer maintenance or repair.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Two to five years of basic desktop and network technical support in a help desk capacity.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting telephone and desktop equipment systems.
• License/Certification: Certified professional in computer maintenance and repair or equivalent work experience.
• Other: Healthcare experience preferred.

• Operate the day-to-day operation of the Valley Health System Help Desk.
• Answers and documents calls placed to the help desk, documents problem resolution.
• Strives for first-call resolution for customers relying on the VHS help desk.
