Job summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation is seeking an IT Support Generalist to provide front-line Help Desk support, configure and deploy workstations, and maintain inventory in a fast-paced, office setting in Anchorage. The role requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork across IT functions.

Applicants should have 0–1 years of IT experience and a High School Diploma or GED. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and ticketing systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of basic applications and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Help Desk support and resolve problems to end user satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond quickly to IT Help Desk requests.
• Document internal procedures and onboarding of new users.
• Install, test, and configure new workstations, software, and peripherals.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and licenses.
• Assign users/computers to groups in Active Directory.
