Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Anderson, CA is seeking a Help Desk/PC Technician to join our IT team. You will actively support company IT operations across the U.S., troubleshoot issues by phone, and guide users through corrective steps while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

1 year of computer and/or network problem-solving experience in a business environment (certifications/education may substitute for experience).
CCNA and/or A+ certifications are a plus.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of remote support tools.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
Understanding of Windows Desktop, Server OS, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
Basic understanding of firewall rules, antivirus software and desktop security products.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
Business network (VPN, Wi‑Fi, WAN/LAN), VOIP skills are a plus.
Familiarity with mobile device setup and support.
Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Actively support IT operations across the U.S., with strong PC and network knowledge.
Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues by phone.
Guide users through corrective steps and ensure best user experience.
Coach users in best-practice problem-solving methods.
Build, diagnose, and repair PCs, laptops, phones, tablets, and printers.
Address concurrent issues with timely follow-up and resolution.
Monitor file sharing, permissions, and network access.
Troubleshoot network/Wi‑Fi issues to completion.
Install and support Microsoft, IBM i, and other business software.
Manage iOS/Android activation, email config, MFA enrollment, and basic troubleshooting.
