Job summary

SPS Switzerland AG in New York is seeking a proactive Hello Host to be the first friendly face at our client site, delivering a welcoming, high‑caliber customer service experience and a lasting positive impression.

You will manage reception duties, assist with meeting room bookings and guest arrival, and build strong relationships with colleagues and visitors to ensure total satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of customer service experience in reception, hospitality or retail.
• Proven track record of providing stellar support to customers.
• Great telephone skills and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to function successfully within a strong team environment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization.
• Creates and builds positive and productive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide a gracious arrival experience for all colleagues and guests, ensuring they feel welcome and their needs are taken care of in a fun, friendly and professional manner at all times.
• Deliver world‑class experiences that leave a lasting, positive first impression.
• Cater to the needs of colleagues and visitors while demonstrating genuine care.
• Ensure a seamless experience through the use of technology to support visitor registration, meeting room bookings, guest arrival, special requests and any other needs a colleague may have throughout their day.
• Develop relationships through personalized encounters and proactive assistance.
• Advise colleagues and guests by maintaining employee and department directories, giving instructions and making warm connections.
• Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Capture individual preferences of colleagues and guests for future visits and think creatively of ways to accommodate any special requests.
• Develop relationships with colleagues and proactively gather information on their needs to identify customer and SPS services that ensure total satisfaction.
• Proactively communicate with the Workplace Experience team and other service groups to ensure a “one‑team” ethos.
