Job summary

Med-Trans is seeking a HAA Pilot for a full-time role to transport customers with a team of medical experts. Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR/Med-Trans requirements.

Candidates must hold a rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and Class II Medical Certificate, with substantial turbine helicopter hours. The position offers a $94,084-$103,493 salary with a 6% geographic modifier, a $15K sign-on bonus, and on-duty housing.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours (1,500 Helicopter Hours).
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).
• AS350 Aircraft Experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to the next pilot and team following Med-Trans change board protocols.

• $94,084 - $103,493 including 6% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
