Job summary

Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our operations, and you will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients safely.

The role requires a current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and a Class II Medical Certificate, plus substantial flight experience including turbine hours.

Qualifications

• FAA rotorcraft commercial helicopter certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Extensive flight hour experience as listed in minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Maintain aircraft readiness and comply with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Keep regulatory documentation up to date and accurate.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following the change-board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand Med-Trans requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateMed-Trans and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successive pilotandteam followingprotocol forrecordingMed-Trans change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

MinimumRequirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 200 Helicopter Instrument Hours (Actual/Hood/SIM) 50 Hours Actual WX in Aircraft

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
