Amentum in Hawaii is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (AH-64E) to perform maintenance on helicopters, following drawings, blueprints, directives and safety procedures.

You will remove and install subsystems, service and lubricate aircraft, prepare for inspections, perform scheduled checks, assist in troubleshooting, and maintain maintenance records. The role requires a HS diploma, military training preferred, and may require travel and various shift work.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• US military technical school or specialized training desired.
• A&P license (valid, optional)
• Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing experience, and two years on the MDS in the last six years.
• Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel internationally.

Responsabilités

• Remove/install aircraft subsystem assemblies (engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls).
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform scheduled inspections and assist with special inspections.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting subsystems with specialized tools.
• Prepare forms and records related to maintenance.
• Maintain and manage supplies and perform preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
