Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (UH-60) to perform maintenance on helicopters in Helena, MT. You will remove/install subsystems, service and lubricate, and prepare aircraft for inspections while adhering to manuals, directives, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include completing inspections, assisting with troubleshooting, maintaining logs, and using specialized tools. A valid US driver license and ability to obtain security clearance are required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training preferred; education level certified.

Responsibilities

• Remove/install aircraft subsystem assemblies (engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls).
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform scheduled inspections and assist in special inspections.
• Assist in troubleshooting using tools and equipment.
• Prepare maintenance forms and records.
• Maintain supplies and perform preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to safety programs.
