Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. You will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and service equipment while ensuring compliance with FMCSA, company, and regulatory safety standards.

The role requires interpreting technical manuals, replacing defective parts, and testing to verify proper operation. Applicants must be able to lift heavy loads, work in varying weather, and meet all shift

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent preferred.
Must be 17+ years old and have at least 1 year of experience or completion of trade school.
Ability to use hand tools and test equipment; own tools preferred; knowledge of diesel engines and heavy truck systems.

Responsibilities

Repairs and performs preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts.
Inspects, troubleshoots, diagnoses and maintains equipment.
Conducts safety inspections and prepares FMCSA, company, and regulatory safety documents.
Interprets work orders and technical manuals; replaces defective parts and tests performance to meet specs.
