Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years of age and physically capable.
• 1 year experience and/or trade school or equivalent.
• Able to use hand tools and test equipment.
• Must have own tools and general repairs knowledge.
• Diesel engine system diagnostics knowledge is preferred.
• CDL and FMCSA rules knowledge if driving on roads.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and service equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and prepare FMCSA safety documents.
• Interpret work orders and manuals to complete tasks.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test performance.
• Maintain high attendance and adapt to workload demands.
• Work beyond core duties as needed in a fast-paced shop.
