Job summary

E.W. Wylie is seeking a journeyman technician to join our large, fast-paced fleet maintenance team in Arlington, WA. You will ensure heavy-duty trailers stay in top condition, from initial inspection through final inspection, guiding entry-level technicians and keeping drivers safe.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience working on heavy equipment. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.
• Must own and utilize a complete set of tools required for performing all maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: complete PMs on fleet trailers and equipment, including lubrication, inspections, seals, bearings, DOT inspections.
• Corrective Maintenance: perform repairs on heavy equipment, including brakes, electrical failures, frame repairs, etc.
• Diagnosis: diagnose issues with fleet equipment using diagnostic equipment.
• Maintenance Software: use maintenance software to review pending services, repair history, and create repair orders.
