Job summary

E.W. Wylie is seeking a motivated apprentice-level heavy-equipment technician in Arlington, WA to learn the inner workings of our shop and keep our fleet moving. You'll work alongside senior technicians, gaining hands-on experience on trucks and trailers while developing diagnostic and maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• Basic tool knowledge is required; mentorship and learning support are provided.
• Strong communication and listening skills are needed for mentor and driver interactions.
• Interest in hands-on mechanical work and learning in a heavy-equipment shop.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance: perform PMs on trucks, trailers and equipment.
• Corrective maintenance: body panels, electrical work, frame repairs, and more.
• Diagnostic work: identify issues using diagnostic software.
• Maintenance software: review history and create repair orders.
