You will inspect air brake systems, ABS, suspension and electrical systems, perform welding and fabrication, and document labor hours and parts used. The role requires at least 1 year of experience in heavy-duty trailer mechanics, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift heavy parts, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a heavy-duty trailer mechanic.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required depending on location.
• Criminal history background screen may be required by customers.
• Able to lift and install heavy parts such as brake drums, tires and suspensions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trailers and dollies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on trailers.
• Repair air brake systems, ABS, suspension and electrical systems.
• Weld and fabricate on steel, stainless and aluminum.
• Repair body panels, doors and frame components on semi-trailers.
• Document repairs with labor hours and parts used accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and work safely with team.
