Flowserve in Greer, SC is seeking an Industrial Precision Assembler to disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild large pumps and rotating equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring experience with heavy machinery, cranes, rigging, hydraulic tools, and precision measuring devices.

You will read engineering drawings, follow work instructions, perform pressure and functional testing, maintain repair records, and support continuous improvement in a shop environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial mechanical assembly, equipment repair, maintenance, millwright work, pump repair, heavy equipment maintenance, or rotating equipment service.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, hoists, rigging equipment, or other material handling equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics.
• Ability to utilize precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when business needs require.

Responsabilidades

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble large industrial pumps, and rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly prints, repair specifications, and work instructions.
• Utilize overhead cranes, rigging equipment, and lifting devices to safely move large industrial components.
• Perform mechanical assembly and rebuild activities involving bearings, shafts, seals, housings, couplings, impellers.
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and dial indicators.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and identify worn or damaged components requiring repair or replacement.
• Perform pressure testing, functional testing, and quality inspections to ensure equipment meets customer specifications.
• Operate hydraulic torque tools, lifting equipment, and other industrial maintenance tools.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and inspection records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support shop productivity goals.
