Job summary

Industrial Fabricators is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Loader/Unloader to join our Paint Line team on 2nd Shift. This role loads and unloads metal parts before and after painting, moves materials through the production area, and ensures parts are handled to maintain quality.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable with a warm manufacturing environment, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable in a heat-exposed manufacturing environment.
• Able to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive movements.
• Previous manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.
• Willing to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal parts from paint line racks, conveyors, and carts.
• Hang and remove metal components before and after painting.
• Inspect parts for placement, damage, or quality concerns.
• Move carts, racks, and materials throughout production.
• Lift and handle parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain production flow by ensuring parts are available for paint.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work in a warm manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation per 5S.
• Communicate issues to supervisor about parts, equipment, or delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload metal parts from paint line racks, conveyors, and carts.
• Hang and remove metal components before and after the painting process.
• Inspect parts for proper placement, damage, or quality concerns.
• Safely move carts, racks, and materials throughout the production area.
• Lift, push, pull, and handle metal parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Maintain production flow by ensuring parts are continuously available for the paint process.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE requirements.
• Work efficiently in a warm manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation following 5S standards.
• Communicate any issues related to parts, equipment, or production delays to the supervisor.
