INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Paint Line Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

PAINT LINE LOADER-UNLOADER - Load and unload various parts from baskets or skids on the conveyor system for painting.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Is responsible to load and unload various parts to conveyor.
• Is responsible to plug and unplug thread holes on fifth wheels.
• Hang and unhang various hook sizes based on the size or type of the part.
• Is responsible to follow and adhere to company processes for inspection of parts, including final painted parts.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
• Manufacturing experience desired.
• Ability to safely operate overhead air hoist.
• Ability to gain forklift certification.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work as an effective and cohesive team member and take direction from leadership
• Basic math abilities
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.
• While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance, with full motion unrestricted.
