Job summary

JOST International Corp. is seeking a Paint Line Loader-Unloader to load and unload parts from baskets or skids onto the conveyor for painting.

The role reports to the Paint Line Supervisor and carries responsibility for meeting assigned duties with authority aligned to responsibilities. Responsibilities include loading/unloading parts, wiring and threading adjustments, and adhering to quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience desired.
• Ability to safely operate overhead air hoist.
• Ability to gain forklift certification.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as an effective and cohesive team member and take direction from leadership.
• Basic math abilities.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload various parts to conveyor.
• Plug and unplug thread holes on fifth wheels.
• Hang and unhang various hook sizes based on part size/type.
• Follow and adhere to company processes for inspection of parts, including final painted parts.
• Perform any additional duties assigned that are inherent to this position.

INTRODUCTION:

This position reports to Paint Line Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

PAINT LINE LOADER-UNLOADER - Load and unload various parts from baskets or skids on the conveyor system for painting.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

• a) Is responsible to load and unload various parts to conveyor.
• b) Is responsible to plug and unplug thread holes on fifth wheels.
• c) Hang and unhang various hook sizes based on the size or type of the part.
• d) Is responsible to follow and adhere to company processes for inspection of parts, including final painted parts.
• e) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

• a) High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• a) Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.
• b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance, with full motion unrestricted.
