Job summary

Flex--n--gate is hiring Afternoon Shift Operators to join our manufacturing team. You will read work orders, load parts on jigs, monitor the line, and help prepare items for painting, ensuring quality and accurate documentation throughout the shift.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 15 lbs, and occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and instructions to determine material requirements and product specifications.
• Load and unload all parts on jigs while the line is running.
• Monitor schedule to ensure correct parts are loaded.
• Wipe down and prepare parts to be painted.
• Check for quality defects, remove all bad parts, and document.
• Ensure parts are set up correctly to be painted.
• Remove painted parts off the line and place in crates.
• Pick parts to be scanned and labeled.
• Scan parts and enter into computer system.
• Accurately pack and label boxes for shipping.
• Record operational or production data.
• Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas.
• Clean production equipment and work areas.
