Job summary

Reworld in the United States seeks an Auxiliary Operator to work with the control room to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently in our industrial disposal process.

You will monitor boilers and auxiliary equipment, read meters, perform sampling and chemistry testing, and handle heavy equipment like cranes, loaders, and conveyors. A High School Diploma and 2–3 years’ experience with heavy equipment are preferred; rotating shifts required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety procedures (boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, heavy equipment).
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, dampers, compressors, valves, conveyors, turbines, electrical devices).
• Read meters and gauges to identify trends or disruptions affecting operations.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling and chemistry testing and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Carry out additional duties to ensure safe and efficient operations.
