Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to support our power plant operations. You will work with the control room to safely run and inspect systems, including boilers and air pollution controls, while monitoring a range of auxiliary equipment.

Applicants should have 2–3 years' experience with heavy industrial equipment, a high school diploma, and be capable of rotating shifts. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights in a dynamic facility environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3 years' experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems per safety operating procedures; systems include boilers, air pollution control, ash, and heavy equipment.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators and electrical devices.
• Read and interpret data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends and potential disruptions.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment such as cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts.
• Maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel in operations equipment and ensure appropriate refuse mix in designated pits.
