Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking a Transportation Operations Project Manager for the Heavy Haul ESC program in the DFW area. The role involves defining roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams, and managing operations to deliver program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in supply chain, heavy haulage, sea freight and large scale air freight projects.
• 3+ years experience in operations management or project management and owning stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale construction methodologies and planning.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent service, understanding their needs and goals.
• Review impacts to logistics and develop mitigation strategies for ESC program objectives.
• Interface with vendors and partners to gather and synthesize detailed business requirements.
• Lead project calls, report progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Monitor operations and coordinate with forwarders and suppliers for on-time delivery.
• Maintain project metrics for on-time delivery, safety, quality, spend and savings.
