Job summary

Hut 8 is seeking a Logistics & Expediting Manager to own inbound logistics, heavy-haul, and delivery scheduling for major data center equipment. This on-site role ensures transformers, switchgear, generators, and chillers arrive on time, intact, with no surprises.

You will run structured expediting on critical-path POs, manage freight forwarders and carriers, and coordinate with site teams to align deliveries with crane and laydown availability. 25–40% travel required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in project logistics for major capital projects.
• Hands-on heavy-haul planning for loads in the 100k-500k+ lb class.
• Vendor expediting with factory milestone tracking and FAT coordination.
• Freight terms, cargo insurance, and Incoterms experience.
• Willingness to travel 25-40%.

Responsibilities

• Own the inbound logistics plan for major equipment and heavy-haul routing.
• Run structured expediting on critical-path POs and track milestones.
• Select and manage freight forwarders, carriers, and heavy-haul specialists; handle customs and import compliance.
• Maintain the rolling delivery lookahead with the Materials Manager and crews; schedule against crane and laydown windows.
• Resolve shipping damage, shortage, mis-delivery, and storage-in-transit issues with clear documentation.
• Report logistics status, risks, and expediting actions; build Hut 8's logistics playbook.
