Job summary

FedEx is seeking personnel in Williston, VT for part-time roles involving safe operation of equipment to move packages and freight. You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed, while performing other duties as assigned.

The role requires physical capability to lift 50 lbs, to work in varying weather, and to communicate effectively in a noisy environment. Drug screening and valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend, squat and maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Able to operate in all weather conditions if required.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
• Successful completion of basic and recurring training.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages and freight.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
